It's our second year crop for having this Thai geisha coffee from
Doi Mae Salong in Chiang Rai province Thailand. The farm sits at 1,560 meters above sea level which is the highest alttitude at Doi Mae salong where local people won't normally grow their coffee here except this farm from Paisarn the owner this farm who has been dedicating his hard wok and passion through his quality coffee for more than 15 years. He grows many varieties like Catimor, Yellow bourbon, some Typica and Geisha at the highest altitude with more than 60% shade grown.
The average temperature at his farm day time is around 16 - 23 degree celsius with a cool breeze all year round and it will drop much colder at night. During the harvest season which starts from early January to early March the temperature is slightly colder than average temperature around 2-3 degrees celsius but at night will be dropping to one digit depending on season.
This year 2024 crop the cup results are more positive than last year and we only picked the ripe coffee cherries to ensure that the coffee will have a great sweetness and good structure in the cup results. The coffee this year is very clean and it has a good sweetness while floral tone and acidity are pleasant.
